TRANSPORT

So this festive occasion can be experienced fully, many initiative have been taken to guarantee organised transport so that all locations can be reached easily; hence the area included in the ZTL will be entirely reserved to pedestrians from 9 P.M. until 5 in the morning.

The underground, busses, trams and rail lines will work throughout the night with more runs than usual From 10 P.M. until 6 in the morning it will be possible to use public transport using one single 1 € ticket. Security and urban police services will also be increased.

HOW TO TRAVEL TO ROME FOR THE ‘NOTTE BIANCA'

For those wishing to travel to Rome for the ‘Notte Bianca', Trenitalia presents special promotions for Saturday 17 th and Sunday 18 th of September:

  • 25.000 cheap tickets (15€ and 30€) for 90 Intercity day trains and 64 night trains to and from Rome
  • there will also be 58 trains made available by Trasporto Regionale Lazio running until late at night.
